By accessing or using ContentEngine, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and we will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification.

2. Description of Service

ContentEngine is an AI-powered content automation platform that enables users to generate, manage, and publish blog content to their connected CMS. The service requires users to provide their own API keys for AI model providers and CMS platforms. We do not guarantee specific outcomes from AI-generated content.

3. User Obligations

You agree to provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, and use the service in compliance with applicable laws. You are responsible for all content generated and published through your account.

You must not use ContentEngine to generate content that is illegal, defamatory, infringing, or harmful. You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or disrupt the service.

4. Payment Terms

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout. All fees are non-refundable except as described in our 30-day money-back guarantee for new subscriptions. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice. Free tier usage is subject to the limits described on our pricing page.

5. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all content generated through ContentEngine using your API keys. The ContentEngine platform, brand, and technology remain the intellectual property of ContentEngine, Inc. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our platform code or branding without written permission.

6. Limitation of Liability

ContentEngine is provided on an “as is” basis. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or suitable for any particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the preceding 12 months.

7. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time from the Settings page. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days to allow for recovery, after which it will be permanently deleted.
