Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored as a bcrypt hash). When you connect third-party services, we collect and store your API credentials encrypted with AES-256-GCM.
We also collect usage data such as pages visited, features used, content generation counts, and error logs to improve the service.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and maintain the ContentEngine service, process your content generation requests, communicate with you about your account and updates, and improve our platform based on usage patterns. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Data Sharing
We share data with third-party services only as necessary to operate the platform. This includes your CMS provider (when you publish content), AI model providers (when you generate content using your own API keys), and payment processors (when you subscribe to a paid plan). We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including AES-256-GCM encryption for stored credentials, bcrypt hashing for passwords, HTTPS for all data in transit, and tenant isolation to prevent cross-account data access. While no system is perfectly secure, we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
5. Cookies
We use essential cookies to maintain your session and authentication state. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies. You can configure your browser to block cookies, but this may affect the functionality of the service.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can export your data or close your account from the Settings page. If you have questions about your data, contact us at privacy@contentengine.dev.
7. Contact
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, contact us at privacy@contentengine.dev or write to us at ContentEngine, Inc.
